Like the Sony store, but for Tea

And by the way. Its pronounced Twinings ( like in twilight). If you know someone that apreciates Tea, don't forget to drop by the only twinings store (yes they only sell tea. oh and coffee too) . Located on the Strand in London, just in front of the Court of Justice, its the only store in the world that only sells twinings tea, and it's where it all begun.

The 9 still rolls

There are two bus lines in London that still use the old buses, so you can get that vintage ride feeling.

Sweet cruizer

Police cars in London vary in make and model, but I,ve seen several of these beemers, they certainly are good cars, in other places there would probably be an outrage at cops driving BMW's.

No wonder they call it " The tube"

Gotta say that the London subway is one the tightest I've travelled in, and then it has a pretty big gap in betwen the cars and the platform.

Cloned Mini

Want a Mini Cooper ? short of cash ? Lifan motors has the solution. Get a cloned one, made in china, and if your sofisticated buy the mini logo on ebay !
I saw this "mini" in Asuncion, Paraguay. Of course it's not a cooper, Its a lifan 320, if you mistake it for a mini it's your asumption.

Think about it

Bumped into Rodan's thinker in the Plaza congreso in Buenos Aires. This is actually an original copy made by Rodin and signed by him, there seems to be only three of these worldwide.

Dusk in Puerto Madero

Puerto Madero used to be the docks and now has become one of the "chic" districts of Buenos Aires, full of fancy stores and restaurants where you can buy the best steack in town (not as cheap as in other places).

La Plata cathedral

The cathedral of la Plata dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, is one of the largest Neogothic catholic Cathedral in The Americas. Its located in the Main square of the city facing the city hall.
La Plata is located 45 minutes away from the City of Buenos Aires. Its the provincial Capital, as oposed to Buenos Aires being the federal Capital.

Back in Baires

I hit Buenos Aires again for the second time this year, even in winter you can find flowers in the southern hemisfere, but make no mistake it gets darn cold here.

This one's cool

This wall is outside the "Museo de la NaciĆ³n de PerĆŗ" dependent of the INC. It has no artistic merit, just atractive colours, and the puddle was reflecting the wall very artistically.
I gotta say that the INC was extremelly inefficient in providing me with a press pass and after 20 days failled to tell me that they had dennyed it. even after sending all types of letters and scanned press card etc. anywhrere in the civilized world they believe you when you show your press card, but not in Peru.

Spuds R-us - La cuna de las Papas

Peru is the cradle of potatoes , you can find more 100 variaties in many shapes and colours. I got in trouble for taking these shots at the super market, cause they have a no photo policy, even though it was'nt potsed anywhere. I was let off after I flashed my press card.

The Machu Pichu

Talk about far away places, Take a 20hr bus ride from Lima to Cusco, another 4hr very expensive train ride and a 15 min bus to get to this amazing site. I have to say that it's worth it. I was very lucky to hit some nice sunny days on my stay in Cusco, mostly cuz I went on the dry season. If you go during the summer (Dec to March) you might not be so fortunate. I´ve heard stories of people that did the Inca trail at thee longest length which takes 7 days, only to find the Machu Pichu immersed in thick clouds on a wet and gloomy day.

For the whole load of pics,See the Pdf.

Ridin´ the Subway

Buenos Aires was the first Latin American capital to have a subway, Circa 1913, and the "A" line still runs the original cars. The other lines have new stations and cars as well.
