You probably heard or tried the famous "Benedictine" Liqueur made the Benedictine monks in france with herbs and spices.
Well the benedictine monks in Argentina also make their own version, "Monacal" done with 73 different herbs of local procedure it comes in two versions, with, or without suggar

Unfortunatelly after trying both I find that the suggar version is too swet and the non suggar tastes bitter, but I do trust that it contains the herbs as advertised and use it as a digestive, the price being a fifth of the French one, the quality is still to be improved.

The "Monacal" liqueur can be purchased at the "Abadía delniño Diós" in Victoria and in many other benedictine churches in Argentina.

More or less two clicks from the downtown area of Victoria stands the "Abadia Benedictina del Niño Dios" a Benedictine Monastery that produces the famous Liquer made by the monks and also a variaty of marmalades and othe sweets.

Being one of the main atractions of the city, it can be visited and toured mostly on the weekends.

I an a very carnivourous person except when I am by the sea or river, then I like eat fish,in this case by the Parana River you have a variaty of river fish that you can enjoy. The Dorado being one of the most popular.
At the "Club de Pescadores" in Victoria you can enjoy fresh fish dayly for a very cheap price and generous portions.

Of course when u land in Victoria, you will probably head to the main square that is where everything happens in small cities and towns worlwide.

It is´nta afastous church, mainly well kept and recently renovated, but it still has its charm with beuatifull paintings and plenty of light.

There you have several places to check out, one of them is the main parish, Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu.

Roughly 75 clicks from Rosario in the neighbouring province of Entre Rios sits the city of Victoria.

A traditional town built on the shores of the Parana River it is renownwd for its classical architecture and well ornamented iron balconies and gates.
It is really worth going there for a day trip or even to spend a night.
