La Fragata Libertad

This frigate is the shool ship of the Argentine Navy and is docked at the Buenos aires Port close to the Buquebus terminal.

Style on the River

This charming building is the Tigre Art Museum, located in Tigre on the Buenos Aires province . Built for  the regatta club of that city in 1909.

The General lies here

At the Metropolitan cathedral in Buenos Aires you can visit the grave of Gen. José de San Martin, hero of the Argentine independence. Each hour they have the changing of the guard, done by the Granaderos or Mounted Grenadiers, who serve as the presidential guard.

Basilica Maria Auxiliadora

One of the most beautiful churhes in Buenos Aires is the salesian Basilica de Maria Auxiliadora, at the intersection of Hipolito Irigoyen and Quintino Bocayuba, in Almagro.
