"El Rosedal" Fine gardens in Palermo

The Rosedal or Rose Garden is part of one of the parks that are in the 3 de Febrero parks.

it is dedicated as its name says, to Rose bushes, even though it does have some other flowers and plants

I have to say that it is very well kept by the City of Buenos Aires, and it is of free entry.

Now since Summer is the season that Roses bloom in the southern hemisphere, it is best to visit it during this season, to be able to catch the Roses in full bloom.

at "la noche de los Templos 2018"

As in previous years I had the chance to do the night of the Temples.

Organized by the city of Buenos Aires, it is an evening in which most of the religious houses of woeship in the city are open to the public, more as a cultural venue than as a temple.

The nicest time of the year to be in Buenos Aires in my opinion is between mid September and late November, when all the trees are blooming, this is a street shot of one my hood's streets.

La noche de los Museos 2018 - Buenos Aires

This year was the 15th edition of the "Museum night" here in Buenos Aires.
With more tha 100 venues open to the public, the event was a succes even though the weather was rainy and muggy.

there were huge lineups at very emblematic places like the National Congress and the Confiterá El Molino which is being renovated by the city.

In many museus there was live music. I attended the "Aires del Plata wind ensemble" at the "Casa de la Cultura" in Avenida de Mayo.

Weekend Getaways - Reserva Ecologica Otamendi

Roughly 70 clicks north on Buenos Aires  on the way to Zarate lies 40 hectares of natural reserve protected by a National Park.
NIce to visit on a weekend or a free day you might have. Yo can get there by car or the slow but sure way, by train getting off at the train station that drops you off roughly 500mts away from the main entrance
