Tu experiencia Canon event at the DOT Baires shopping mall.

I attended last Sunday the latest Canon event named "Mi experiencia Canon". This time it was inside a shopping Mall even though most of the shoot was done on a small terrace with some flowers and plants.

Like the previous one it lasted half an hour and they let you play around with the latest rebel camera that they sell in Argentina, which is one that is discontinued in North America and Europe, and you pay double the price that you would pay the newer model elsewhere.

But anyway, I have to say that the photo guides where very kind and helpful and they also give you a Canon coffee mug as a gift.

2017 British Chistmas Fair in Buenos Aires

Yesterday was the Annual Christmas Artisan Fair at the British Ambasador´s residence in the
Recoleta neighbourhood in Buenos Aires

Hosted by the Argentine British Community Council of Argentina, it is a fundraiser that has been in existence for over twenty years.

Complete with local crafts, English pastry's and a performance by the local Salvation Army brass band, and a Christmas Carol concert, it was very well attended during a splendid spring day.

"La noche de los Jardines" in Buenos Aires

 Last night´s "Noche de los jardines" at the Municipal Botanical Garden in Buenos Aires was a quite charming experience.

 As its name mentions it was a night in which the gardens were illuminated and opened to the public, with tours of its several premises.}
like its several Green houses containing diverse plants from all climates.

there were also live shows and even food trucks which made a very interesting evening of the event.

Fireworks at “La Boca”

Went to see the fireworks at Vuelta de Rocha in La Boca last Saturday Jan 24. FYI La vuelta de Rocha is the place in La Boca where u can see two huge steel bridges that cross the Riachuelo.
Anyway the event was done by the same guy that organized the fireworks at the Beijing Olympic games. I have to say that it was a little disappointing cuz of the intervals in between each Tango song that they played, bout 6-7 minutes, and that the explosions were very low, but over all it was O.K.

Its a Plane, its a bird...

This past sunday y stumbled upon an Open House of the French Embasy in Buenos Aires, the lineups went on for two blocks to get in and take the tour, here people are admiring the painting on the ceiling. I congratulate the Argies on their cultural tastes. The embasy itself and the sorrounding area are very Paris like.
