Another classic at the Palermo soho hood is the Taberna Odin, located at Honduras 5090 very close to Plaza Serrano, a sure fire tourist trap.

Still the ambiance is quite comfy and their craft beer selection and prices are quite acceptable.

This cosy pub located at "Las cañitas" in Palermo has its own attractions compared with the other craft beer joints that keep popping up in Buenos Aires.

The place is quite ample with tall ceillings and has the beer making equipment at sight, giving the place a touch of authenticity.

I tasted several beers and was parcial to the honey stout golden Ale that they brew.

The Shanghai dragon located at Araoz 1199 in Palermo is one of three themed pubs along with The Bangalore and Gibraltar that are owned by the same person.

In all of them you will find Asian, Indian and English food done in a mild Argentine style, not the real mackoy but as oriental as you will find in Buenos Aires.

In all the beer selection is alright and its location and cosy ambiance qualifies it as a place to hang out and unwind.

Continuing with our local Pub pilgrimage, this time we visited Van Koning, a dutch themed beer house located at Baez 325 in "Las cañitas" Palermo.

They have a good selection of bottled and crafted beers and offer a really good pizza combo during happy hour.

The Kramer pub, located at Uriarte 1411 in the Palermo hood markets itself as a German Bierhaus, in spite of having the same selection of Craft beers found at other pubs in Palermo.

Nevertheless I think it is a worthy watering hole, cosy and with a good selection of German sausage to accompany its beer.

Located at Honduras 5720 in Palermo Hollywood, the Baum is a pretty nice beer joint.

With a good variaty of hme brewed beers and a spacious ambiance, its big enough to get cozy in a corner and not be bothered with crowds. Obviously on Fridays and Saturday nights that may not be the case.

The Bangalore pub, located at Humboldt 1420 at the edge of the Palermo neighbourhood is ambiented as a typical Northern England pub with antique furniture and the classic wood mantelpiece.

It serves mild Indian food and the average fries with curry. Their selection of crafted beers is not the widest, and the prices aren't that great. But it makes it up for by its  cosy ambiance.

Nola´s Pub is located at Gorriti 4289 in Palermo. If you crave for Cajun chicken and Pecan pie, it´s probably the only place that you will find them in Buenos Aires.

As most of the other beer places it has a reasonable variety of Crafted Beers, but a wider food menu specialising in chicken, also the fried version is quite good. Up to date it has the cheapest happy hour pint at ars$40, which is under 3 bucks.

Jerome´s Pub or Beer republic, is located at Malabio1401 in Plaermo Viejo, Its one of the many Crafted Beer pubs that has sprung up in the area.

It specializes in Crafter beer from Mendoza an mountanous areas in Argentina. I was very satisfied with the "Roja andina" and the Scothish Ale I tried.

I have also to praise their serving portions. We ordered the fries and received a humongous platter with a heap of french fries, and the real stuff made from actual taters, another fine product of the argentine countryside.

Cervelar, Tienda de Cervezas has ceveral pubs in Buenos Aires, I went to the one in Palermo, at Cabrera 4399, but therea re athers at Caballito,Belgrano & Microcentro.

They have crafted and bottled beers and a pretty cosy, vintage ambiance.

I had the Dubel style brewed beer, that's a Belgian ale, but you can sample most of the Argentine crafted beers, that can be well appreciated in a land of terrible commercial beers.

On Tap, located at Cosra Rica 5527 in the Palermo Holliwood neighbourhood is Bar dedicated to local craft beer or "cerveza artesanal" as they call it here.

It has a nice selection of ales, bitters and dark beers served in different sizes. Its a small place that generally overflows towrads the sidewalk.
I had the simil Guinnes beer called Gambrinus and was satisfied with its bitternesss. Even though Argie craft beers tend to be overpriced and are´nt as good as their canadian peers, the prices at "On Tap" were quite accesible.
