The Ecopraque in Buenos Aires
The Buenos Aires Zoo was built in the late 1800s and was one of the first Zoos in south America, it was built as part of a large park complex called Parque tres de febrero on the lands of the deposed governor of Buenos Aires, Juan Manuel de Rosas.
Recently transformed into an Ecopark, it is still not totally finished but most of its buildings have been restored and you can already see native plants and animals roaming free in its grounds.
like many attractions in Buenos Aires, it is free and is an ideal place to relax and go back in time admiring its beautiful architecture and statues.
