Villa Ocampo, Beccar

Located at Elortondo 1837 in Beccar, not far away from the city of Buenos Aires, lies this old Mansion turned museum.

Built in 1891 as a summer residence for the Ocampo family and since 1941 became the residence of Argentine writer Victoria Ocampo who modified some rooms in its interior.
Victoria ended up donating the property to UNESCO in 1973 and is now open to the public for visits and events.

For a small fee you can walk the premises with a guided tour of the interior of the house.
